Terms of Service
The service
Career Agent, operated by RND HORIZON LLC, helps you build a professional profile, discover job postings, understand how your experience relates to them, and prepare application materials. You decide what to apply for and submit applications yourself; we never apply on your behalf and never contact employers.
Your account
You must be at least 16 to use the service. If you are under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's consent to buy a paid plan. Keep your password confidential and tell us about any unauthorized use.
No guarantee of outcomes
We do not guarantee interviews, offers or any hiring outcome. Fit levels and analyses are informational summaries of stated requirements and your documented experience, not predictions.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for reviewing materials before you approve or use them.
- Only provide information that is true and that you have the right to use.
- Do not use the service to misrepresent your qualifications or to submit applications in someone else's name.
Acceptable use
You may not attempt to access other users' data, overload or probe the service, scrape it, or use it to violate any law or third-party right.
Your content and AI-generated content
What you add and the documents you approve are yours. You allow us to store and process them only to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Drafts are generated from your confirmed evidence and checked automatically, but they may still contain errors. You must review all content before approving it.
Price and payment
Career Agent has a free plan and paid plans. What each includes and what it costs are shown on the pricing page and in Settings → Plan & billing before you buy. We sell paid plans only where Settings → Plan & billing offers them to you; where it does not, you use the free plan and nothing is charged. You must be at least 18, or have a parent's or guardian's consent, to buy one.
A subscription (a product such as Pro, the Complete bundle, or the Student plan) renews automatically every month, or every year if it has a yearly price, at the price you agreed to, until you cancel it. Each renewal is charged at the start of its period to the payment method you used. A 7-day pass and a pack are paid once and never renew: a pass adds uses for seven days from the payment, a pack adds uses for a subscriber of its product for the days stated when you buy it, and uses left at the end lapse.
The payment is taken by Link, Stripe's service, which sells the plan to you as merchant of record (“Sold through Link”), charges the price, calculates and pays the VAT, sales tax, GST or HST that applies, and sends the receipts and invoices. Prices are shown with that tax included, in the currency of the country where you made your account; your bank may charge a fee for a payment in another currency.
Before you pay, we show you the terms of your purchase filled in with your details and ask you to accept them: in Türkiye the pre-contract information form and the distance sales contract; in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the pre-contract information; in the United States and Canada the purchase terms with the automatic renewal of a subscription. We email them to you after the payment, and they govern the purchase together with these terms.
Whitelist price. A whitelist member who subscribes during the private week before the public launch pays the whitelist price shown for that subscription's first 12 months (12 monthly payments, the first included), with the allowances shown for it. After them the subscription continues by itself at the product's normal monthly price at that time, with its normal allowances, until you cancel. We email you about a month before, and again 7 to 14 days before, the first payment at the normal price, with its date and amount and how to cancel.
Cancelling. You can cancel a subscription at any time, without giving a reason and without any fee: in Settings → Plan & billing, press “Cancel subscription” beside it and confirm. We confirm the cancellation by email at once. You can also cancel on Link's order page (app.link.com) or by writing to us. The subscription then ends at the end of the period paid for; you keep everything until then, and nothing more is charged. Deleting your account ends every subscription at once.
Price changes. We may change the price of a subscription for the future. We tell you by email 30 days before the new price applies, and it applies only from a renewal after that notice; if you do not accept it, you can cancel before that renewal without any cost. A whitelist price does not change during its 12 months.
Refunds. Except where these terms or the law where you live give you more (the right of withdrawal below for Europe, the Turkish forms for Türkiye), a payment is not refunded for a period that has started, and a pass or a pack is not refunded once bought. If we fail to provide what you paid for, write to us and we will put it right or refund you. If we stop offering Career Agent in your country, a period already paid for runs to its end and does not renew, and what is left of a pack is refunded on request.
If a payment fails, Link tries again and tells you; until it succeeds the subscription is past due, and if it is not paid, the subscription ends.
If you live in the United States or Canada
Automatic renewal. Before you subscribe, we show you the subscription's terms (what it includes, its price, how often it is charged, that it renews until you cancel, and how to cancel) right beside the box with which you consent to them, and we charge you only once you have ticked it. After the payment we email you those terms, filled in with your details, as your copy of the agreement.
Reminders. Each with the date, the amount and how to cancel, we email you: before a whitelist price ends (about a month before and again 7 to 14 days before); for a yearly subscription, about five weeks and again about three weeks before each renewal; for a monthly subscription, once a year, about a month before the renewal that follows each anniversary of its start; and 30 days before a change of price. Link also emails you a receipt for every payment.
Currency. Prices are in US dollars. If you pay from Canada, Stripe's payment page may show and charge the price in Canadian dollars, converted by Stripe at its exchange rate, which includes a conversion fee of about 2 to 4 percent; the amount in Canadian dollars can then differ at each renewal.
Cancelling online. You can always cancel online, in the same account where you subscribed, as described above; we never ask you to call us or to talk to anyone to cancel.
Canada. Career Agent is not offered in Quebec. If we did not give you the information your province's consumer protection law requires before the agreement, or did not send you a copy of it, you may cancel the agreement within the time that law sets. If you live in British Columbia and cancel a yearly subscription after it has renewed, write to us and we refund the unused part of the year within 15 days. Nothing in these terms limits a right that law gives you.
California. Under California Civil Code § 1789.3, California users are entitled to the following notice: the service is provided by RND HORIZON LLC, 7901 4th St N #24768, St. Petersburg, FL 33702, United States; its prices are those shown on the pricing page and in Settings → Plan & billing. The Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs may be contacted in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
Disputes. Write to us first; we will try to settle any complaint directly. These terms ask for no arbitration and no waiver of class actions: you may bring a claim in the courts where you live, including a small claims court.
If you live in the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland
Right of withdrawal. As a consumer in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of the day the contract was concluded, without giving any reason. To withdraw, use “Withdraw from contract” in Settings → Plan & billing, where each purchase shows it for as long as it can be withdrawn from, or tell us clearly by email or post (the addresses below), for example with the model withdrawal form in the pre-contract information. Sending your withdrawal before the 14 days are over is enough. We confirm a withdrawal without delay by email.
If you asked us to start the service before the 14 days are over, you can still withdraw, but you pay for what was provided until you withdrew, in proportion to the whole purchase: for a subscription, the share of its first period that had passed; for a 7-day pass, the larger of the share of its seven days that had passed and the share of its credits you used; for a pack, the share of its credits you used. Once a purchase has been provided in full (a pass after its seven days or once its credits are used up, a pack whose credits are used up), the right of withdrawal ends. We start the service as soon as you have paid, so before you pay we ask you to request this expressly and to confirm that you know what it means for your right of withdrawal.
When you withdraw, the service you bought stops at once and we refund what you paid, less the proportionate amount, within 14 days, to the means of payment you used, at no cost to you. Renewals of a subscription are not new purchases: you can cancel a subscription at any time, and it then runs to the end of the period paid for.
Swiss law gives no statutory right of withdrawal for purchases online; we give consumers in Switzerland the same right of withdrawal, on the same terms, by contract.
Legal guarantee. The service must be as described in these terms and in the information you were shown before buying. If it is not, you have the rights the law where you live gives you for digital services (in the European Union, the rules of Directive (EU) 2019/770 as your country applies them; in the United Kingdom, the Consumer Rights Act 2015): to have it brought into conformity, and otherwise to a price reduction or to end the contract. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
Disputes. We do not take part in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board, and we are not obliged to. Write to us first; we will try to settle any complaint directly.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonable.
If we stop offering Career Agent in a country, the accounts opened there can still download their data and delete themselves, and a period already paid for runs to its end and does not renew.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
If you are a consumer in the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the paragraph above applies only as far as your law allows: we are liable without limit for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under mandatory product liability law; for damage caused by slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an obligation essential to the contract (one whose fulfillment makes the proper performance of the contract possible at all and on which you may regularly rely), and then only for damage typical and foreseeable for a contract of this kind.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in these terms takes away the protection that the consumer laws of the state, province or country where you live give you, including any right to bring a claim in your local courts.
If you are a consumer in the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
Changes
We will give at least 30 days' notice of material changes by email. If you do not accept a change, you can cancel a subscription or delete your account before it takes effect; a period already paid for is not changed to your disadvantage.
